Hotel Cap Polonio is family owned and situated in Pinneberg only 19 km from Hamburg’s museums, theatres and shopping malls. Restaurant Rolin offers living history, its furnishings deriving from the luxury cruise ship Cap Polonio that dates back to 1935. Gourmets have gathered here since Maître Marc Ostermann has been wielding the kitchen sceptre. Five bright conference rooms are available for festivities and seminars, and a ballroom for sophisticated celebrations.

Schwäbisches trifft Nordseeküste. The island of Sylt is a must any time of the year, but especially in autumn, when the wind generates huge waves: A walk along the beach in the middle of the forces of nature calls for a visit and a grog in the ’Fitschen am Dorfteich‘. Verena and Manfred Fitschen designed their hotel and restaurant with plenty of attention to detail, and the maître serves the best of two worlds: Swabia meets North Sea coast.

His very well organized career ladder included stays with Lothar Eiermann, André Jaeger, and Dieter Müller and turned out to very much be worth the effort. The successful managers Gerhard Birnstingl and Wolfgang Steffen have together with a 70 person team been welcoming locals and tourists from all over the world for more than 30 years.
