The Tour de Gourmet Jeunesse (TdGJ) is the highlight for our young guests. This is how they become acquainted with our lovely country and get a taste of exciting cuisine-styles in the company of other young gourmets. The ‘Kooperation’ has its thumb on the pulse with this entertaining restaurant-hopping. The anniversary festival allows a maximum of 42 guests between the age of 18 and 35 to go on a delicious and eventful journey from Kiel to Glücksburg. The journey starts on 8 January 2012 at 12 noon, when the team of the Romantik Hotel Kieler Kaufmann and Star-Chef Mathias Apelt are going to create the starting highlight. Luxurious Audis A8 will then take you to the Viking settlement Schleswig at the Schlei. This is where Chef Andy Philipp, who is committed to regional cuisine, is responsible for creating the fish course – fresh from fisherman Nanz’ net. Crowning the event, Chef de cuisine André Schneider invites you to join him for the main course and dessert in the Scandinavian atmosphere of Restaurant Felix by Flensburg Fjord. Let yourselves be enchanted by his Mediterranean cuisine, which is based on regional products.
